Our state-of-the-art imaging center uses the very latest Siemens medical equipment, a world leader in diagnostic imaging performance. CT studies are performed using one of the world’s most advanced 64-slice CT scanners, the Siemens SOMATOM Sensation. It can acquire 64 simultaneous slices with speeds up to 128 images per second, delivering exceptional resolution in a much shorter time than older, more conventional CT scanners. In addition, it uses less radiation. Advanced Imaging Specialists also utilizes the Siemens Magnetom Symphony (Maestro Class) MRI, which provides exceptional imaging capabilities along with having a short board which makes for a less confining patient experience. Other brand new state-of-the-art Siemens equipment is being used in digital mammography, radiology fluoroscopy, computed radiology and ultrasound & 4-Dultrasound applications. One of the reasons Advanced Imaging Specialists is able to offer such high-end imaging diagnostic services in such a short period of time is due to our radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving communication system (PACS). This allows for seamless image transfer and storage.
